What is MSDNAA?

The MSDN Academic Alliance (MSDNAA) is a Microsoft software licensing program available to eligible Oakland University students and faculty. Participating students and faculty in the SBA can acquire licensed copies of Microsoft software for academic applications, such as research, classwork, or assistanceships.

The software can be used for personal non-commercial projects or coursework only. Even after graduation, students may continue to use these products for non-commercial purposes, and receive all free updates to the software, depending on the software that is distributed to each student or faculty member.
