Facilities
The School of Business Administration has experienced considerable growth over the last ten years. As a result, we must prudently build classroom and office capacity to manage the growth through 2010 and beyond. An 84,000-square-foot expansion will serve as a new wing to Elliott Hall, which currently houses faculty and students in the SBA. This new wing will offer ten 100-seat classrooms in addition to six 60-seat classrooms designed to provide greater learning flexibility. This expansion will also provide an information commons area to promote student and faculty interaction, outside class teamwork and café eating.

Scholarships/Tuition Assistance Awards
Scholarship and tuition assistance awards ease the burden of rising tuition and represent an important recruiting tool for attracting promising students. These gifts can be directed to the program of your choice.

Excellence in Faculty Instruction
The Campaign for Oakland University includes a goal of adding more than $4 million to endow chairs/professorships/fellowships so that the SBA can compete with other top institutions to recruit and retain the best faculty and leading experts at the senior and junior levels.

Named chairs and professorships are reserved for the most distinguished faculty, recognizing extraordinary teaching, research and scholarship. Endowment proceeds provide for salary, benefits and research support, but more importantly enable these outstanding faculty members to advance knowledge and understanding.

Faculty fellowships provide critical support and resources for attracting the best junior faculty. Fellowship funding enables a professor to pursue research and academic study on behalf of the department.

Academic Programs
The School of Business Administration works hard to maintain curriculum that is relevant for the graduate of the future. You can designate your gift in support of any of the curriculum areas of School of Business Administration: Accounting and Finance, Marketing and Management, Economics and Decision Information Systems.

Technology Support
