Room Reservation Policy (Pricing and
Availability)
Classroom breakout rooms, and lounge are available for booking without charge
for directly related Executive Training, Continuing Education, or SBA events.*
The classrooms and lounge are available for non-SBA events as follows:
$50 per hour for breakout rooms or $150 per day $100 per hour (No
technology) or $300 per day $200 per hour (Using basic technology) or $600
per day $300 per hour plus fees (Using ITV Interactive technology in Rooms
212 and 214) or $900 per day
*Please note that technical assistance is available for ANY event, however,
there is a $20 per hour fee for this service. In case of booking conflict,
priority will be given in the following order:
A. President’s Office/Board of Trustees B. Executive Training
or Continuing Education events C. SBA event D. Non-SBA event
Procedure
To make a room reservation, please use the following procedure:
- Check the Room Specifications (attached) or tour the
room prior to making a reservation
- Email sba-ce@lists.oakland.edu at least 5 working days prior to the event to
reserve the room. Please keep in mind that NO PHONE RESERVATIONS ARE
ACCEPTED.
- Your Email should include the following information:

Presentation needs
- An Email confirmation will be sent back within 48
hours. Non-SBA events will be invoiced after the event within 2-4 weeks.
- Please be courteous. Email sba-ce@lists.oakland.edu to cancel your reservation
as soon as possible. No shows will be invoiced.
THE DEPARTMENT OF EXECUTIVE TRAINING AND CONTINUING EDUCATION IS NOT
RESPONSIBLE FOR SCHEDULING CATERING OR COORDINATING THE EVENT. CATERING IS
HANDLED BY THE OAKLAND CENTER RESERVATION OFFICE (248) 370-3245
