Michigan Insurance Continuing education credit Submission Policy 01/07
We are implementing a new policy for submitting
Michigan Insurance Continuing Education Credits (CE credits) as follows: Financial Planning Students that
need to submit Insurance Continuing Education Credits (CE
Credits) through the State of Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance
Services are
required to indicate their CE Credit request when registering for a CE approved
Financial Planning Course by completing and faxing the Michigan Insurance
Bureau Continuing Education Request Form (linked above) including payment
information to the Center for Executive and Continuing Education before the
beginning of the first class. Students may fax the form to
248-370-4963.
The
application for CE credits will be submitted to the State of Michigan
Office of Financial and Insurance Services (OFIS) immediately upon completion of the
course. Students submitting CE credits must pay
$1.00 per continuing education credit plus a $5.00 administration fee to
process the credits through the OFIS.
We reserve the right to deny CE
credit submission for those students failing to notify us of their CE credit
needs using the Michigan Insurance Bureau Continuing Education Request Form
before the beginning of the course.
